It is something metaphysical that shapes who we are and what we do, residing in the hearts of those who find freedom in this cruel world and are driven by guiltless passion. I decided to explore this notion of Shounen in the world of NFT’s because It has a special place in my identity, and I believe it is what characterizes my artistic style.
As a half Japanese boy who observed the world through the lenses of creative pop culture and endless possibilities, it is in my best interest to share with everyone the innocent curiosity, and playful perception of everyday objects experienced by the Shounen.

A little bit about myself, I am a Japanese/Australian mix living down under. My proper artist journey began 2 years ago, after graduating high school and taking some time off to discover what I really want and do with my life. Before then my whole life was devoted to becoming a professional soccer player. My biggest inspirers/motivators are Kid Cudi, Mamoru Hosoda, Coldplay, Nigo and Brian Donnelly. In a matter of time, Yung Yunky will “conquer” the world and Shounen will reach the moon.
Hey everyone, my name is Roy and I am one of the founders of Shounen. I was born in Japan but currently living in Australia. I have been working full time in the NFT space for nearly a year now. When I first started I didn't really understand the whole concept but as I progressed, I started to see the relevance and beauty of NFTs and decided to quit my job to be a full time NFT degenerate 🤣 . Shounen is a project that has a lot of meaning to me, as mentioned in the manifesto the whole concept of Shounen is to showcase Asian creative pop culture and the nostalgic experiences as a Shounen (young boy from 4-14) growing up. Being able to work on a project I am very passionate about is something I am very grateful for and enjoy on the daily basis, so I can promise everyone that I will put 100% of my efforts to bring this project to light and success.
Hello everyone, I am Fleb one of the Founders of SHOUNEN. I am a Japanese/Chinese mix currently living in Australia. My NFT journey started a year ago and through different communities and research I have develop many skills and knowledge which has helped me progress throughout this space. Since my journey began I have worked with numerous projects, advising and providing value to the team/project, the most notable and most time invested in being HAPE. From the start, working with HAPE was more than just a discord. The work environment was professional and organized as a carefully constructed company should be. Working with HAPE I have learnt a lot about what makes an NFT project successful and how to bring value to the community. I worked with HAPE for 3 months, as one of their community managers assetsing and developing the strong supportive community that they now have. My role included but was not limited to, using my bilingual ability to manage the Japanese community, organizing community events (games/quizzes), google sheets/docs management for planning and note taking, and bringing new idea to the team. I wish to bring all the new skills and knowledge that I learnt from HAPE into SHOUNEN to ensure a successful launch and constant support for our SHOUNEN community and young creatives.
Hey everyone, my name is Alex and I am one of the co-founders of Shounen. I'm born and raised in Australia with a Chinese background. I have been in the NFT space for about 7 months now, picking up all the ins and outs of this space fairly quickly. At first when I started i was clueless, however with the help of my friends I was able to grasp the whole concept and progress fairly quickly learning about the importance of NFTs and how it's a gateway to the future of society. Shounen NFT is a project that represents me and my childhood which has shaped what I've become, from the cartoons I watched when I was young to the food (mostly candy) that I had. Being chosen to work with such like minded people is an honour and i am very grateful to have met this team where we all like the same things and are able to relate to growing up with such experiences that is conveyed in our project!
Hey guys, my name is Keef, I am from Malaysia and I am the developer of Shounen. I initially graduated from game design but started self learning code since 2016. Before NFT's I was in the sneaker industry writing private scripts and bots for companies but since last year have moved onto the world of web3 and solidity. I have been studying web3 and contracts for over half a year now and am very confident with my work. Very grateful and excited to be apart of Shounen.
Hola! I'm Scappy and I am an advisor for the Shounen NFT Team.
